Walk the Downtown Area

Walk the city! The Blenman Inn is an ideal place to stay for your visit to downtown Tucson.

Enjoy a short walk from our front porch to many of Tucson’s National Historic Districts including The Presidio which contains many of the oldest structures in the city, some dating to the early 1800’s.

You may also walk to the city’s premier visual and performing arts venues including; the Fox Theatre, Tucson Museum of Art; Tucson Convention Center and Tucson Arena; Tucson Symphony Hall and the performance houses for the Arizona Opera; Broadway in Tucson, and the Arizona Theatre Company at the historic Temple of Music and Art.

If you’re more inclined to seek out the eclectic and Bohemian faces of the city, simply stroll to the nearby clubs, bookshops eateries, galleries, and boutiques in our Downtown Neighborhoods and in the Fourth Avenue Shopping District.

We are also close to the University of Arizona and the Main Gate of the historic campus. The distance is short enough for a pleasant walk or bike ride in moderate temperatures or a very short drive otherwise.

If you are attending a wedding or reception at the Zellweger Mansion (a.k.a. Z Mansion), the Stillwell House, San Augustine Cathedral, or the Scottish Rite you are also within walking distance from the Blenman and we’d be delighted to have you stay with us.
